HUMASON ATTAINS PERFECT VOTING RECORD

Casts 585 consecutive roll call votes this year

BOSTONHouse Minority Leader Brad Jones congratulated Westfield’s State Representative Donald Humason today for achieving a perfect voting record this year.

The Westfield Republican participated in every one of the 585 roll call votes held this year, casting votes on issues that included new benefits for veterans, additional aid for Westfield State College, and increases in local aid for cities and towns.

“Living so far from the state capitol it isn’t easy to be there for every single roll call,” Humason said.  “I try to make it my priority to be in the House Chamber to observe and participate in the debate and deliberations, especially on issues important to Westfield and Western Massachusetts.”

“Don’s perfect attendance this year is testimony to his dedication and commitment to being a constant and fervent advocate for the people of his district,” Jones said. “Don devotes a great deal of time and effort to being an active, involved legislator, and his constituents certainly reap the benefits.”

“The voters of Westfield hire me to do a job.  Maintaining a good roll call record is an important part of that job,” Humason concluded.
