HUMASON GETS GOAL ENDORSEMENT Don Humason, Jr., Westfield’s State Representative, who is running for re-election to his third term in the House, has received the endorsement of GOAL, the Massachusetts Gun Owners Action League. "Based on Don's record of support for our issues which show a clear respect for law abiding gun owners, we are pleased to announce our endorsement of his election in 2006," said GOAL Executive Director James L. Wallace. "I am pleased and proud to have the endorsement and support of GOAL and many of the sportsmen and sportswomen of Westfield," Humason said. "It is a pleasure to be both a member of the Westfield Sportsman's Club and their elected representative in the Massachusetts House." Humason also indicated a deep respect for the framers of the United States Constitution and the Second Amendment that guarantees Americans the right to keep and bear arms. "A few years ago I read a statistic that stated that Westfield had the 4th highest number of licensed gun owners in Massachusetts," Humason said. "I am proud to one of them." "We are appreciative of the actions he has taken to protect our rights and shooting sports heritage," Wallace stated. "We look forward to working with Don in the next legislative session." * * *
