HUMASON AGAIN ATTAINS PERFECT VOTING RECORD Casts 364 consecutive roll call votes this year
STATE HOUSE—House Minority Leader Brad Jones congratulated state representative Don Humason today for achieving a perfect voting record in 2008. The Westfield Republican participated in every one of the 364 roll call votes held this year, casting votes on legislation to protect children and families, promote benefits for veterans, help the environment, and increase local aid and education funding for cities and towns. “Don takes his role as Westfield’s State Representative very seriously. Don’s voting record shows his dedication and commitment to being a true advocate for the people of his district,” Jones said. “He devotes a great deal of time and effort to being an active, involved legislator, and his constituents certainly reap the benefits.” Humason has cast over 1,375 consecutive votes in the Massachusetts House. He has not missed a single roll call vote since July, 2005. “I’m proud of my voting record in the House,” Humason said. “I work pretty hard to make sure I’m in the House Chamber for all the debates and roll call votes.” “Sometimes, the House schedule forces me to miss important events back home in Westfield but I know it’s a very important part of my job to be in Boston to represent the people of my district,” Humason stated. * * * Representative Humason and his Legislative Aide Jonelle Gingrich may be reached at his State House office, Room 542.
